Coca-Cola 600

Coca Cola 600

Hello Angels,

Because this is Memorial Day, I’m honoring a friend of mine killed in Ramadi, Iraq in 2006 – Marine Major Megan McClung – who coined the words “Be Bold, Be Brief, Be Gone!” with a short missive about the Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Speedway.

Congratulations to Kevin Harvick and our very own Madison this week. Harvick won the race and Madison took home the first CHARLIE’S ANGELS’ TOP ANGEL AWARD for Segment Two with an average finish of 14.2.

Mr. X is awarded the CHARLIE’S ANGELS’ RUNNER-UP Angel Award with his 14.8 average finish, while CorWin takes home CHARLIE’S ANGELS’ GOLDEN CABOOSE Award with his team’s 22.6 average finish.

Evelyn takes the No. 3 Angel’s spot with a 15.2 average finish; Pete and Kris tie average finishes at 15.6; Julie’s team earns a 16 even average finish; Gibbons’ team earns a 16.6; Kelly’s team earns a 17 even; while my team earned a 17.4; Vivian takes home the No. 10 Angels’ spot with her team’s 18.4 average finish; while Candy Man rounds out the field with his team’s 21.2 average finish.

Alex and Mr. Munday didn’t pick their drivers in time for the start of Sunday night’s race and find themselves behind to begin Segment Two.

Next week’s race is the STP 400 at the Kansas Speedway.

Don’t forget to check the ESPN Stock Car Challenge website to see where you stack up against the other Angels after Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Good luck next week Angels,

Charlie
